GOE Adapters

Grooved One End · by Perigo

Perigo GOE (Grooved One End) adapters are manufactured with a rolled groove — not cut — for a stronger, more reliable coupling connection than standard alternatives. Available in Carbon Steel, #304 Stainless Steel, and Sch 80 PVC in sizes 2" through 16". Steel and stainless versions are 2½" weld-on fittings. PVC versions are cut to fit bell end pipe and couplings, inserting fully to maximize glue surface area while leaving room for the groove coupling.

Why Rolled Groove?

Built Stronger From the Start

Most manufacturers cut their grooves — Perigo rolls them. The difference shows up in every connection.

Rolled Groove — Not Cut

All grooves are roll-formed, not cut like other manufacturers. Rolling compresses and strengthens the material, creating a tighter, stronger groove connection.

Superior Connection Strength

The rolled groove method preserves wall thickness and produces a more consistent groove geometry for a stronger, more reliable coupling seat.

Weld-On Steel & Stainless

Carbon and stainless steel versions are 2½" long and designed for direct weld-on installation — fast to install, simple to inspect.

PVC Bell-End Optimized

PVC versions are precisely cut to fit bell end pipe and couplings, fully inserting to leave maximum room for the groove coupling and ensure the largest possible glue surface.

Other Manufacturers

Cut Groove

  • Removes material from the pipe wall
  • Thins the groove area — weakest point of connection
  • Higher chance of inconsistent groove depth
  • Greater risk of failure under pressure cycling

Perigo GOE Adapter

Rolled Groove

  • No material removed — wall stays intact
  • Compresses and work-hardens the groove area
  • Consistent groove geometry every time
  • Stronger, tighter coupling seat under pressure
